Hot Air Balloon Training

Gone-With-The-Wind Ltd can offer unique opportunities for training to the international standards of the UK CAA and EASA (European Air Safety Agency).

Feb-Apr 2021: For the next 8 weeks Allie will be offering online training sessions on a Thursday evening at 7pm UTC and Friday morning 9.30 UTC. Anybody interested in learning for their PPL written exams can join. Email Allie at: balloonjourneys@alliedunnington.co.uk

Not only are Phil & Allie both Instructors but Phil is one of the UK's most senior Examiners (Private & Commercial) with recent involvement in helping develop new regulations for use in the 31 signatory countries of EASA.

Training programmes have already been tailor-made for civil and military authorities as wide-ranging as Iran, Egypt, Russia, Chile, India and Indonesia. Self-contained flight and ground school courses can be run in a country of the client's choice or at our school in southern Portugal.

We offer balloon training to UK/EASA private or commercial standards in the UK and overseas. We have 50 years of combined instructor and examiner experience to cover every aspect of the balloon training syllabus.
